There are five rooms in total in the apartment. Each room is occupied by one Person.

What Type Of Internet Connection Is There?

There is a 6Mb ADSL Connection. Each room has a network cable and the entire apartment is covered by WiFi.

With whom Will I Be Sharing the Apartment?

The people in the apartment tend to be foreigners between the ages of 20 - 35, masters and doctorate students and working professionals. We've had people from France, Germany, Mexico, US and Peru, so far

What Is The Atmosphere In The Apartment? What Is The Policy With Parties?

Because of the nature of most of the flat mates and the neighbors it is not possible to host large parties. The kitchen is ideal for hosting a dinner party for no more than 6 - 8 people and you must seek the consent of your other flat mates.

Can I Have A Guest Sleep Over?

Yes, once a week, seeking the consent of the other flat mates.

Can I Share The Room With A Boy/Girl Friend? Can He/She Stay Over Just For A Week Or Two?

No.

How Does The Cleaning Work Out?

The common areas are cleaned once a week. If you wish to have your room cleaned you can talk to the cleaning person and pay her directly. She charges 10 Euros / hour

What Is The Neighborhood/Surrounding Like?

El Raval is part of the old city of Barcelona. It had an old quaint charm and may not appeal to all tastes. If you like living close to the center, yet in a quiet ally, than you will love it here. As in all centers of major cities, you must be mindful of your belongings. However, the pickpockets tend to go where the tourists are. And we have never had any incidences in the proximity of the apartment.

What Is The Procedure For Booking A Room?

Once you are ready to book and we have given you confirmation that you may have the room we will provide you with bank details so that you can make a direct bank transfer.

What Is The Contract Like?

It is a six month contract that can be renewed if no major issues arise during the stay. The contract may be terminated at any time with one months notice.
The contract doesn't include utilities.

What If I Want To Leave Before The End Of The Contract?

No problem. We require one month's notice. Your deposit will be refunded to you in full on the day you leave the flat minus any out standing bills or damages.

What Are The Extra Costs?

There is a utilities charge of 50 Euros that covers electricity, gas, water, cable TV and cleaning.
